Bill Krebs will be leading a 4×4 and hiking field trip to the White Mountains to see Cambrian Explosion fossil deposits. 4X4 vehicles are required. To reduce vehicle impacts please carpool or request a ride with WMRC. A caravan will meet at Owens Valley Station at 9 a.m. and return around 4:00 p.m. The group is expected to hike 4-5 miles of moderate terrain. Space is limited to 15 participants and RVSP is required. A suggested donation of $20 is encouraged. Please wear hiking boots and appropriate apparel. Bring water, snacks, and a sack lunch.
